KASSIX POS

A simple point of sale for small businesses, dressed as a Windows 98 desktop. Ring up sales at a fast register, keep stock accurate, look up any past sale with its receipt, and see revenue and profit at a glance. Each store’s data is private to its own account.

Problem

A small shop needs to know what sold, what’s left in stock, and what it actually earned, but a notebook or spreadsheet never quite adds up.

Solution

A register-first web app on Next.js and Supabase. Every sale runs through one Postgres function in a single transaction: it locks the products, rejects anything out of stock, computes prices, tax, and totals on the server, and logs each stock movement. Row Level Security keeps every store’s data private, and sold items keep their original names and prices, so history never changes.
